Fund’s Board of Directors
Statement by the Board Chairman
Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
I am pleased to present to you the Fund’s 2023 activity report, which reflects the ongoing efforts and future vision to support the stock market to keep pace with development and growth policies and to achieve precedent protection and prevention for investors dealing in the Egyptian stock market and sustainable development in the fund in particular and the Egyptian capital market in general.
Since the launch of the Investor Protection Fund, its primary goal has been to enhance confidence in financial markets, protect investors’ rights, and safeguard them from market risks.
This year has been full of challenges and opportunities. However, thanks to God first and foremost, and then to the dedication and full commitment of the Fund’s team, we have been able to achieve significant accomplishments that enhance the market’s position among global markets and support our future vision. We have also achieved tangible accomplishments for companies operating in the capital market by providing support for IT risk protection programs, as well as supporting training programs for employees of member companies in various fields of specialization through concluding a protocol with the Financial Services Institute affiliated to the Financial Regulatory Authority and the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
This is in addition to the Fund’s effective management of available resources and the generation of returns that are channeled into improving the work environment and employees in the capital market. The year also witnessed further measures implemented to govern the fund’s performance by developing work systems and updating computer systems through contracting for the SAP system.
Finally, I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority for his continuous support to the Fund and to everyone who contributed to these achievements. Thanks also go to the members of the Board of Directors, the executive team, employees, and whoever has supported and trusted the Investor Protection Fund. We are committed to maintain work diligently and persistently to achieve further success and promote the Fund’s position as a fundamental pillar in protecting investor rights.
We ask God to grant us success and guide our steps in our future journey.
Thanks
Chairman of the Investor Protection Fund
